Pants Are Done

They're very comfortable and notice the kick pleats on the outside of each pants leg!  This pattern is by Brensan Studios and is well done - good pictures and explanations plus there's a page of general sewing tips like putting in zippers and altering patterns to actually fit.

Also, Kerry Green is going to teach for us this Fall.  Her work is reminiscent of Sue Spargo and she brought in samples from two of her patterns (she'll teach both plus a third) - check these out. 

And, did you know we carry wool?  We do - and I'm looking for some of these cool, luxurious threads so we can do this, too!

So Much Fabric....

I haven't blogged in a couple years.  But when we moved the store and I gained an office here, I decided to try it again.  We get so much cool stuff in and I want to show it all to you!  I bought a new camera six months ago, hoping that would improve my photos, but it started malfunctioning so I'm using my old one for now.  (I did just get a call that Canon has agreed to replace that broken camera!  I'll go after work.)  I trust you'll be able to imagine the possibilities even from these images!

I'm making PJ bottoms out of it and calling them my Drinking Pants.  Picture to follow when they're done!
